CD-Review: Last Autumn's Dream - "Paintings"

Every new year sees a new Last Autumn's Dream release. That is as safe as the "Amen" in a church and so the forthcoming record "Paintings" will be released in the end of February 2016. Three years ago I said that the quality doesn't suffer under the annual releases. Now we are at some point where it does. But let me explain this in this review.

CD-Review: Last Autumn's Dream - "Level Eleven"

It's impressive how many albums the Scandinavian band Last Autumn's Dream has produced since their start in 2004. With "Level Eleven" they release their 11th album in eleven years. This is a huge number. Most bands that are around for 20 years now aren't so productive. Now you might ask if this is always a good thing and to be honest although Last Autumn's Dream produced always good albums a certain continuity found its way in recent LAD records. Can "Level Eleven" add something new to the whole thing?

CD-Review: Lover Under Cover - "Into The Night"

I was already wondering if a new Last Autumn's Dream album will arrive this month, because usually we get to hear a new album from these guys each year. But this time they released just a Best-Of. So, nothing new from workaholic and singer Mikael Erlandsson this year?  No - how could I think about that. Seems like Erlandsson took a break from LAD to write a new album togehter with his buddy Martin Kronlund. Under the banner "Lover Under Cover" they released their second album "Into The Night" a few days ago.

Here we go again ...  the interest in this Scandi Melodic Rock/AOR band seems to be very big. My post about their new album ist the most popular post for weeks now. I never thought that. So here is the review you've all been waiting for!

LAST AUTUMN'S DREAM - new album "Ten Tangerine Tales"!

Today I've got really good news for those of you, who fell in love with (Scandi) AOR/Melodic Rock.
Singer and songwriter Mikael Erlandsson is a real worcaholic. Recently he released an album with his new band "Lover Under Cover" and was also involved in some other productions where he was doing guest vocals (for example Sapphire Eyes). Now he is back with his main band Last Autumn's Dream - like every year!
The new album "Ten Tangerine Tales" will be released on December 19, 2012 in Japan. The rest of the world will have to wait until January 25, 2013. But for now we all can listen to lots of samples. Just click on the album cover below.
