Quick-Reviews: Sonata Arctica, Kee Marcello, Meat Loaf

Hey folks,

long time no update, but I needed some time to collect a few albums for review, because August and September didn't offer many interesting releases. But now I can present you a pretty decent mixture of sub-genres: Prog/Melodic-Metal, classic Hard Rock and some theatralic Rock.

- SONATA ARCTICA - "The Ninth Hour"
- KEE MARCELLO - "Scaling Up"
- MEAT LOAF - "Braver Than We Are"

Exclusive Interview with KEE MARCELLO (ex-Europe, ex-Easy Action)

I think many of you remember the legendary guitar solo on Europe's classic "Superstitious" and the famous man behind it: KEE MARCELLO. After breaking up with Europe lots of things have changed and during to the release of his new solo album "Judas Kiss" I had the pleasure to interview this living legend.
Kee talked about his new record as well as his appearence in the musical "Rock Of Ages", but also about some very personal things he experienced in all these years of musicbusiness. Check out this very detailed interview with one of the finest guitar players of all time!

KEE MARCELLO - new album "Judas Kiss" in April!

Former Europe - guitar player KEE MARCELLO seems to be a very busy man. After releasing his Europe-cover album "Redux: Europe" and his biography "The Rock Star God Forgot", he performs in the well known musical "Rock Of Ages" in Sweden.
During this time he also found the time to record a new album. It's called "Judas Kiss" and will be released on April 5th, 2013! It remains unclear in which musical direction Kee wants to go this time. His first solo record was kind of songwriter/acoustic-style, while the follow-up record "Melon Demon Divine" sounded more like Melodic Rock/Metal with lots of modern influences. "Redux: Europe" marked his way back to his roots.
The cover artwork of "Judas Kiss" is much darker and also some song titles seem to be more aggressive this time. No matter what will come - we can look forward to fantastic guitar solos.

Album/Song of the year 2012 - # 04!

On # 04 of the top albums 2012 hides something special. Why? This album was already released in 2011 ... but only in Sweden. The rest of the world got it this summer, that's why it is in the list. Another reason is that this longplayer consists mostly of cover-songs from a legendary band, called EUROPE. You know, which LP I mean? ;)
